It's amazing how stressful it can be to try and understand art.  I've been fretting about creating art that is interesting to me for the last couple of years.  Art that is, essentially rational and logical.  I'm making some progress on it, and mainly when I draw from reference, but I haven't been able to turn on both creative and logical modes of thought for a long time.  So, in short, I've been trying to rationally understand light, and rationally understand "flow"/fluid drawing.  But actually combining the two has been very difficult.  

Any similar experiences/ insights into the problem I'm facing?
